Now is the Time

Eternity, it’s set on our hearts

We long for resurrection and transcendence

more than we’ve ever longed for bread

We took Jesus’ promise and reduced it

    to a wafer

At least Manna grew worms

But all wafers do is stagnate

They elicit neither life or death

I no longer desire the stagnant wafer

In search of a living God,

I choose a living faith

  a living practice,

    a living bread

Gone are the days of stagnation

Gone are the days of enoughness

Now is the time for transformation

Now is the time for feasting!

Now is the time for feasting.
